These general conditions regulate the terms and conditions of access and use of the website laquintadesotoscueva.com, owned by La Quinta de Sotoscueva, S.C., with address in Quintanilla del Rebollar and Tax Identification Code number J09581513, hereinafter , “the company». The user of the portal must read and accept them to use all the services and information that are provided in the portal. The mere access and / or use of the portal, of all or part of its contents and / or services means full acceptance of these general Terms and Conditions.
These general conditions of use of the portal regulate the access and use of the portal (either by the portal itself, by its users or by third parties), including the content and services available to users. However, access to and use of certain content and / or services may be subject to certain specific conditions.
The company reserves the right to modify the general conditions of use of the portal. In any case, it is recommended that the users periodically consult these Terms and Conditions, as they can be modified.

5. Responsability of the portal
The user knows and accepts that the portal does not grant any guarantee of any nature, whether express or implicit, on the data, content, information and services that are incorporated and offered from the portal.
The portal does not assume any responsibility regarding possible damages caused by the use of the portal, neither by the use of the information, data and services included, except for those cases expressly imposed by Law and, in this case, exclusively to the extent specifically imposed by Law.
The portal excludes any liability for damages that may be due to information and / or services provided or supplied by third parties other than the company. All responsibility will be of the third party, whether supplier or collaborator.
6. Intellectual and industrial property
All contents, trademarks, logos, drawings, documentation, computer programs or any other element susceptible to protection by the intellectual or industrial property legislation, which are accessible on the portal correspond exclusively to the company or its legitimate owners and all are expressly reserved. The rights over them are specifically reserved.
The creation of hypertext links to any component of the website (portal) is subjected to permission obtained from the company.
In any case, the portal reserves all rights over the content, information, data and services that are included and offered from it. The portal does not grant any license or authorization to the user on the use of its contents, data or services, other than those expressly detailed in these general Terms and Conditions.
7. Applicable legislation, competent jurisdiction and notifications
These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with the Spanish Laws. For any claim, the courts and tribunals of Castilla y León will be competent. All notifications, requirements, requests and other communications that the user wishes to make to the company that owns the portal must be written and it will be understood that they have been correctly carried out when they have been received at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Bookings can be arranged electronically using our website, by phone or email or any other means allowed. Please, note our BOOKING INFORMATION and CANCELLATION POLICY.
Bookings will not be considered effective until 100% of the total price has been paid. All bookings would be confirmed whenever the client requests it by any system that allows proof and accreditation.
Reservations made more than 6 months in advance to the arrival date may be subject to rate updates.
The prices established for the current date is shown at the main entrance of our apartments, as well as in our website. However, clients are advised to inquire about availability and rates according to seasons, number of guests and nights spent in our accommodation.
Likewise, the prices of extra services offered are indicated in our website.
Up to two children under 4 years old can stay for free if they stay in existing beds, or in the available crib.
The payment of the whole invoice must be done by the user and confirmed by the company at least two days before arrival. Please, note our BOOKING INFORMATION and CANCELLATION POLICY.
The following payment methods are accepted:
- Bank transfer
- Credit / debit card
- Payment in cash will be accepted for concepts other than accommodation (bike rental, shopping, etc.)
Spanish Law establishes that all reservations (accommodation) have a 10% surcharge (VAT). This tax is included in all our prices.
MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELLATIONS OF THE RESERVATION
At any time, the user may withdraw from the contracted services, having the right to a refund of the amounts paid, except for those intended to compensate the establishment as it is established in the following section.
The amount of compensation will be, at most, the result of applying the following percentages to the amount delivered by the client as a reservation:
- Free cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival date.
- 50% of the total price for cancellations between 14 and 7 days before arrival date.
- 75% of the total price for cancellations between 6 and 2 days before arrival date.
- 100% of the total price for cancellations done less than 48 hours before arrival date or when the client does not come.
CHECK-IN AND OUT TIMETABLE
The time of entry (check-in) to the apartments will generally be from 17:00 h, and the time of departure (check-out) until 12:00 h.
If the client wishes to enter or leave the apartment outside this check-in and out timetable, he/she must consult with Apartamentos turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva. The company will do its best to try to adapt to the client’s necessities, but this may not always be possible.
IDENTITY AND NUMBER OF CLIENTS
It is not allowed to exceed the number of people agreed in the reservation, unless an additional payment is done that covers the new number of guests. The number of guests staying in the apartments cannot exceed in any case the legal capacity of each of them, except for children younger than two years old.
In case of non-compliance, Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva reserves the right to request the abandonment of the apartment immediately and the guest will not have the right to request any compensation or refund.
All our guests must provide their full name, ID card/passport number, telephone number and email when making the reservation.
The ID card/passport of every guest will also be required and provided at the time of arrival at the apartment in order to complete the guest registration form.
Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva is not responsible for incidents, problems or consequences derived from the use that clients make of the apartment during their stay, which includes injuries or personal damages of various kinds, losses due to theft, fire and criminal activity, among others.
In the event of any incidence (not related to any misuse that the client could make of the apartment) that makes it impossible to stay in the apartment, the company will be responsible for solving it in the shortest possible time, prior notification by the client. If it is not possible to solve the problem, Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva will provide the client with another apartment with similar characteristics or will reimburse the total costs.
All clients (including their exceptional punctual visitors) explicitly declare that they will use the apartment at their own risk and exonerate Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva of any type of compensation.
Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva will not be responsible for the loss of any object or property by the client.
Guests are responsible for all damages and alterations to the rented apartment, as well as for those caused to furnishings, etc., to the extent that signs of evident normal use are exceeded.
It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for the misuse of the electronic lock and to cover the additional cost for changing it.
Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva will deliver to its clients the apartment in perfect conditions of use and cleanliness. It is the client’s responsibility that upon leaving the apartment, it remains in a logical condition of cleanliness and order. In the event that the apartment is delivered in unreasonable conditions, Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva reserves the right to charge an extra fee equivalent to three hours of cleaning service.
A credit card must be provided as a guarantee of payment in the event of any type of damage.
We beg that any incident that occurs during your stay is communicated to Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva as soon as possible to try to correct/solve it in the shortest possible time.
We ask that our guests behave appropriately. All clients want to enjoy their stay. The apartments have their own rules of behaviour, which are as follows:
- Animals are not allowed in the common areas or the apartment itself.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- It is forbidden to drag suitcases in the common areas of the building.
- Avoid noises in common areas, loud and noisy conversations, music … that could alter the right to tranquility of other guests.
- Respect the rules of cleanliness and hygiene in all common areas of the building.
All guests must respect the timetable established by municipality that regulates and establishes silence from 00:00 to 08:00, both in the apartments and in the common areas of the building. If the neighbours of the rest of the apartments complain or if they have to call the police, you will have to leave the apartment without a right to compensation or refund.
Parties are NOT allowed.
Any break of these Terms and Conditions, gives the company the right to demand the immediate abandonment of the apartment, without any right to request any type of financial compensation or refund from Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva.
When you book an apartment with Apartamentos Turísticos La Quinta de Sotoscueva, you are unconditionally accepting our Terms and Conditions, so if you have any questions or queries, it is advisable to clarify them before booking.
