Our apartments are located in Quintanilla del Rebollar, a small and quite village with a wonderful people and environment.
This place is located at the foot of the Montes del Somo, last foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains, and in the heart of the Monumento Natural de Ojo Guareña, declared and protected by the Junta de Castilla y León since 1996. That’s why this location was chosen to harbor the Centro de Recepción de visitantes-Casa del parque de Ojo Guareña.
It will just take you 5 minutes walking until this place, where in addition to visit the center you can obtain information about the Natural Space.
In addition, 10-15 minutes by car from where the apartments are located, are the two visitable caves of the Complejo Kárstico de Ojo Guareña: Cueva Ermita de San Bernabé and Cueva Palomera.

On the other hand, there are numerous marked hiking routes, some of them cyclable, where you can “lose yourself”: beech and oak forests, gorges, waterfalls, holm oaks and a long list of places with high ecological value where you can enjoy the landscapes north of Burgos.

But without a doubt, if your visit coincides with the rainy season, the waterfalls that dot our surroundings will be your greatest attraction: the Mea and Salcedawatterfalls. Both are within the natural space and will be a delight for all your senses. Also very close to us and scattered throughout the region of the Merindades you can enjoy the Guarguero watterfall, the Peñaladros watterfall, the Salto del Nervión, and a long list of other wonderful places.
